MacDAV… We’re working on it
For those of you who’ve been trying to connect to our DAV protocol since sunday, you might notice that things are a bit sluggish. We’re aware of the issue. While we don’t “officially” support webDAV, we have tried to keep it active and running fine. I apologize for any inconvenience, and we should have a solution shortly. In the meantime, tell your friends to ditch the disk and get a Box ![]()

Always good to hear the Mac side of things is being looked after ;-]

Hi guys,
We’re still working on WebDAV. Turns out it’s a bug in the server software we recently switched to. We are currently waiting on a fix from them, and will implement it as soon as we have it.
As far as SSL support, we had to temporarily disable it due to some software bugs. It’ll be brought back soon, we promise.

I do believe the protocol is called WebDAV and not MacDAV.
Anyhow, sluggish is the best word I have found to describe box.net’s performance in both Mac OS X’s and Ubuntu Linux’s WebDAV handling. It generally works slow and often prematurely cuts of connections.
My biggest problem yet have been: How to actually upload or download anything via the WebDAV?
